About alcohol.
Holidays, weekends and special events all have 1 thing in common, alcohol.
We traditionally think of alcohol as full of carbs and depending on the drink it can be loaded with them...think Margaritas.
But, the actual alcohol portion is metabolized in the liver as a fat. To figure the fat content of a drink please take the total calories and divide by 9. Then log this as a customized food in MyFitnessPal under the macro Fat.
Don't forget all the add ins such as simple syrup, fruit juice and the sort. Those will be logged under the macro Carb.
Beer and Wine are treated just like a cocktail as well.
Plan in advance with pre-tracking your foods and you should be able to fit a fun drink into your day.
